Expert bushcraft & outdoor education in the heart of Dorset
Forest Skills Dorset has been delivering outdoor education since 2015. Our sessions are designed to build confidence, resilience, and a deep connection with the natural world. Every session is led by qualified Forest School and Bushcraft practitioners, with a maximum of 12 children per group to ensure a safe and personal experience.
We believe children learn best when they’re challenged, supported, and having fun in equal measure. Whether it’s their first time in the woods or they’ve been coming for years, there’s always something new to discover.
Available Programmes
Forest Skills Dorset offers the following programmes for children.
Creative Arts Club
An hour of joyful, mess-friendly art-making led by trained early-years educators. Every week introduces a new technique — watercolour, printmaking, collage, sculpture — so children build a real visual vocabulary. Sessions are warm, gentle and never competitive. Kids leave with a finished piece and, more importantly, the confidence that their ideas matter.
